Your information
Solidspace Ltd uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

We may collect information from you when you express an interest in our activities at a conference, a trade event or in a meeting with us, or when you sign-up to our mailing list on our website. When collecting your information via the above methods, we add your information to our mailing list (to receive our newsletter) as we deem that you have a legitimate interest in our activities.

From 25th May 2018, we will no longer automatically add you to our mailing list and you must provide explicit consent by ticking the relevant tick-box when signing-up to our mailing list on our website.

What type of information is collected from you?
In the course of our communications we collect the following personal information when you provide it to us:

  • For general updates – your full name and email address. Your IP address is also recorded by our mailing list provider, MailChimp.

How we use your personal information
We use your full name and email address to:

  • Send emails keeping you updated on Solidspace’s work.

In future, we may use your email address to contact you about other ways to get involved with Solidspace.

Who we share your personal information with
We may share your Personal Information with our third party service provider MailChimp, which hosts our mailing lists and is based in the US, which processes the information that we collect from you. You can find MailChimp’s privacy policy here.
We will not share your personal information with any other third parties.
We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law.

How long your personal data will be kept
We will hold your full name and email address on our mailing lists until you decide to unsubscribe. We will delete your details if you unsubscribe.

We rely on Consent (that you have given clear consent for us to process your personal data for a specific purpose) as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal data.
