This month there are a number of ways to hear more about Solidspace and learn about what we do. Roger will be speaking alongside Marc Vlessing, Founding Director and CEO of Pocket and Finn Williams, architect-turned planner and area manager for the GLA on November 19 November at 6pm at the AA School of Architecture. The event will be chaired by Nicky Gavron, a London-wide Assembly Member and chair of the cross-party Planning Committee. Entitled ’Building for need not greed – who are the house builders of the future?’, this event is free and open to all though attendance will be on a first come first serve basis so please ensure to get there early.
New Ideas for Housing, 7 December
Our Solidspace Connect project is currently being exhibited at New London Architecture as part of their latest exhibition New Ideas for Housing that explores innovative approaches to solving the UK’s housing crisis. Our Connect project looks at the potential of developing the split-level Solidspace DNA as a kit of parts that can be constructed using an inventive concrete pouring and shuttering system in order to create a low-cost solution to housing. The exhibition runs until 17 December, Monday to Saturday and is free to the public. You can find further details on how to visit here.
